About
I'm Bala. I build small, focused software products.
I used to build bridges, bikeways, buildings, and roads. Today I apply the same discipline to software: careful planning, sound structure, and attention to detail.
What I'm building toward
Products that solve one problem well and earn steady, recurring income. Each one is small enough to build and maintain without a team.
What I believe
You don't need to raise money or have a computer science degree to build a profitable product. Small, well-made products can add up to real income. I'm working to show that's true, and to make the path clearer for the people who follow.
Why I write
Writing things down makes the work better, and it gives others an honest record to learn from. Each article covers something real: what I built, what worked, what didn't, and what it earned.
